The event paid a unique tribute to forefathers and father figures whose contributions to performing arts, philosophy, spiritual literature, heritage, science, and thought leadership of India have been thoughtfully remembered through music and dance.
Artistic homage has been rendered by about 20 performers from all over the U.K. to legends such as Veda Vyasa, Kavi Kalidasa, Bharata Muni, Siddhendra Yogi, Dasharatha, Janaka, Annamacharya, Vrushabhanu, Arjuna, Chhatrapati Shivaji and others through Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathak, Karagattam, Mono Action, Kummi, Koya, Hejje Kunitha, Odissi and Nrityachitra presentations. The theme, soundscape and renditions remembering the cultural icons of India have impactfully captivated diverse audiences.
